Duke’s Head Cider Festival 2015

The Duke’s Head 2nd Annual Cider Festival! Plenty of specials on all week with the best from the west. Cider and Perry from Olivers, Barbourne and Newton Court amongst others.

On opening night Tom Oliver from Olivers Cider & Perry will be on hand at the pub himself to talk you through some of his great range plus special guests from other west country cider makers.

Delicious medium sweet cider made from a blend of Herefordshire grown apples
A medium still cider. A hint of spice with bittersweet honeyed applied skins. great when chilled and very moreish
Olivers Gold Rush
Fresh pressed juice fermented by wild yeasts and then matured and aged in oak barrels. A true reflection of the cider makers art….
Olivers Classic Perry
A medium sweet fruity blend of perry pears. Citrus and elderflower hints.
Olivers Strawberry Thatch
A delicious, easy drinking sweet strawberry cider made from Herefordshire grown strawberries. Nothing complicated here!
Olivers Broome Farm Whiskey Cask
A delicious dry cider with a hint of whisky made from Browns and Major apples
Barbourne Crimson King
A traditional medium dry cloudy cider made from bittersweet cider apples that were picked and pressed in Worcestershire. It has a lovely soft tannin finish and is medium to dry on the palate
